Which video game console is better: PlayStation 3 or Wii? – Part 21
First of all lets look at the question shall we? I quote "Which video game console is better: PlayStation 3 or Wii?". The question did not ask which one is cheaper therefore the fact that 2 wii's are the same price as one PS3 is irrelevant. There is no argument about it the PS3 is expensive compared to the wii however it is the better console by far. To start with lets look at problems with the wii.

There are some serious problems with the wii and i shall list some of them.
* No DVD playback support
* Only one controller comes standard!
* The innovative controller is far from precise and many call it "annoying".
* No blue tooth.
* No blue ray.
* Not many multi player options.
* No HDTV support.
* Bad graphics in comparison.
* Some games take long to load.
* Online capabilities are non-existent with 3rd party games.
The PS3 on the other hand;
* Does have DVD playback support.
* Does have blue ray.
* Will have HDMI(high definition multimedia interface) as standard.
* Many multi-player options.
* Really good graphics.
* wi-fi capabilities
* plays PS2 games compared to the wii which only plays wii games.
* very good user friendly wireless controllers.
* very powerful (short loading times)
The PS3 is as good as the wii is bad. The PS3 is simply for the serious gamer who expects and receives the better console!
Will the new Nintendo WII be a success?

The Nintendo Wii is already a success. It has already smoked the Sony Playstation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360. Many have thought the Sony Playstation 3 would smoke the Nintendo Wii. However, it was not the case. It was expected that the Sony Playstation 3 would nail in the coffin of the Microsoft Xbox 360. However, the Playstation 3 did not nail the coffin of the Xbox 360. The Nintendo Wii has strengths of both consoles. However, it possesses neither the weaknesses of the Playstation 3 nor the Xbox 360. Is it a success? The Nintendo Wii is more of a success than the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.
The Nintendo Wii is backwards compatible with the Nintendo Gamecube. However, it is not completely the case with the Xbox 360. It is difficult to play "best sellers" on the Xbox 360 console. The Playstation 3 is backwards compatible with the Playstation 1 and the Playstation 2.
But, the Playstation 3 comes with an outrageous price tag. The Nintendo Wii has a reasonable price tag of $250 to $300. As a result, Nintendo Wii is the hottest game console to get for Christmas. Combine the backwards compatibility along with the price tag, the Nintendo Wii has the lead over the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.
Asides from the backwards compatibility, you can download twenty years worth of Nintendo games onto the Wii's hard drive. That means you can download games for the following: Nintendo, Famicom, Super Nintendo, Super Famicom, Virtual Boy, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and the Gameboy Advance. You get to play your favorite Nintendo classics on your Nintendo Wii. The Xbox 360 does have its special arcade with its Xbox Live service. However, the Playstation 3 does not have that feature. If you carefully think about it, this is more reason to buy the Nintendo Wii.
DVD is still a popular movie format. The Nintendo Wii is capable of playing DVDs. That should be a given. Online connectivity is free as long as you already have high-speed Internet service.
So far, the Nintendo Wii is a godsend.
It has a lot of things that the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 does not really possess.
The Xbox 360 has a habit of locking up and overheating. The Playstation 3 does not have that problem. However, the Playstation 3's problem is still the outrageous price tag.
The Nintendo Wii does not really have to deal with the problem of an outrageous price tag. So far, Nintendo has done a good job strictly keeping to video games. Sony made the mistake of marketing the Playstation 3 as more than a gaming console.
The Nintendo Wii is appealing to everybody. The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 have not. So far, it is revealed that the Wii can be used as a fitness tool with the "Wii Fit."
When you factor in everything, to call the Nintendo Wii a success is an understatement. It has literally smoked both Sony and Microsoft. Overall, Nintendo has gotten the last laugh so far.
Sony should have taken the reigns over Nintendo and Microsoft. But, the Playstation 3 was marketed poorly.
I purchased my first Nintendo Wii yesterday, and have been playing constantly! From excessive playing, can the Wii overheat? If so, how long does it take?

What You'll Need
Now that you've got an idea of the end product, let's take a look at the short list of things you'll need to turn your Xbox 360 into a Netflix player.
1. An Xbox 360
2. Windows Vista with Vista Media Center (it's included by default in Vista Home Premium and Ultimate)
3. A Netflix subscription
4. The freeware vmcNetflix plug-in
Step 1: Set Up Your Xbox as a Media Center Extender
If you've already set up your Xbox 360 as a Media Center extender, you can skip this step. Unless you're already using your Windows PC as a Media Center powerhouse and have a tuner card installed on your Windows machine, chances are you haven't had much reason to set up your Xbox as an extender. With vmcNetflix, you've got a great reason.
Microsoft already provides detailed instructions for setting up your 360 as a Media Center extender, so here's the nutshell version. Start up your Xbox 360, head to the Media blade, and select Media Center. Since you haven't already set up an extender, your Xbox will walk you through the setup process between your Xbox and your PC. The Xbox will generate an eight-digit code to authenticate the connection between the two. Then you need to fire up Media Center on your PC, go to Tasks -> Add Extender, and fill in the blanks in the setup wizard with your eight-digit code when prompted.
Step 2: Install the vmcNetflix Plug-in
Now that your Xbox is set up as a bona fide Vista Media Center extender, you're ready to download and install the vmcNetflix plug-in. There's nothing to it, so just download the latest plug-in from the link and go through the installer.
Step 3: Set Up Watch Instantly on Your PC
Before you can stream Watch Instantly videos to your 360 extender, you need to make sure your PC is Watch Instantly-ready first. If you've already watched videos on this computer using Netflix's Watch Instantly feature, you can skip this step. If not, forge ahead.
Your PC needs to install a plug-in or two from Netflix to help deal with the DRM and such used to stream videos. Installing them is as simple as logging into your Netflix account using Internet Explorer, clicking the Watch Instantly tab, and then playing anything. You don't have to finish it, so just click Play on the first video you stumble across.
Netflix will prompt you to install their plug-in before the video starts, so just accept their prompts and install. When you're finished with the simple installation, you should be watching the video you just chose. Once you're there, you can stop the playback. Soon you'll be watching that through your Xbox, on your TV, from the comfort of your living room.
Step 4: Set Up vmcNetflix on Your Xbox 360
Now you need to run your Xbox 360 in Media Center extender mode. To do so, turn it on, head to your Xbox dashboard, and fire up Media Center from the list where you set it up originally. Your Xbox will find your computer and start up in Media Center mode.
Once there, scroll down to the Online Media section and then move left to select the program library. You should see an entry for vmcNetflix. Fire it up.
Since this is the first time you've run vmcNetflix on your extender, you'll need to set it up with your Netflix account. Doing so is as simple as providing the plug-in with your Netflix username and password. Do that, and you're ready to start watching movies.
Step 5: Enjoy!
That's all there is to it. You can now stream any Netflix Watch Instantly video directly to the TV in your living room using the Xbox 360 that's already there. No $99 out of your pocket, no extra piece of equipment to add to your entertainment center. vmcNetflix handles everything nearly perfectly, from separate episode listings for television shows to managing and accessing your Netflix Watch Instantly queue.
The vmcNetflix plug-in has been in steady development for a few months now, but as the video above points out, the vmcNetflix plug-in can be a little slow and sometimes buggy. I hardly notice the sluggishness, though thinking about it, it does feel a little slower than normal Media Center extender operation. If you run into bugs, the vmcNetflix homepage offers tips for troubleshooting. I've found that restarting my 360 and or Media Center PC remedies any problems. Be sure to check back in with the vmcNetflix homepage from time to time and keep an eye on updates, since the developer is fixing problems and adding features at an impressive pace.
Also Netflix can download Watch Instantly videos and save them on your computer. This comes in very handy because saving videos means you don't have to worry about downloads buffering, and video playback, fast-forwarding, and rewinding all work better. The downside is that saving videos is not part of the Watch Instantly terms of service.

Nintendo Wii Console – New Gaming Experience For The Whole Family

Since the first video games have been on the market many parents have been willing to quickly purchase them aside from the kids begging for them. The home system means that the kids won't have to spend tons of quarters in the shopping mall arcades and the parents will actually know what the kids are playing or doing on their off hours. Nintendo has always been on the front lines as far as game console marketing to the ones that want the personal gaming experience, with Wii system being introduced, you may see that the future is Nintendo.
Many people have just heard about the Wii because of friends or family, they were 1st on the market last year and had a huge response causing a few people to miss out on one. Banners and signs waved wildly above the electronic stores enticing you to the knowledge that Wiis were in stock and ready for sale. The Christmas sales this year will surpass those of last year. If you are considering purchasing a game system for the whole family to enjoy then think about getting the Nintendo Wii.
Usually the reason for purchasing a game system is so that the children have more to occupy their time than texting their buddies, surfing the net, and other things. This is one reason that Wii has become so popular even past one anyone thought, if you do not believe this, just attempt to locate a Wii, many times there is a waiting list. The attraction of this game system is that it is made with the purpose of getting families involved. Not everyone likes the same music or the same thing, which is why the Wii is geared to something all people like, interaction.
The past game consoles usually involved 1 or 2 player devices, you possibly asked a friend to come over and play with you, usually you needed to be sure that you could be successful in your home ground first. Certain things have not changed but with the TVs being bigger and High Definition the games had to improve and bring more defined characters some based on TV shows and also bring the player more into the games. The one-person games still exist but daylight and selfishness do not mix. Wii has games for everyone such as tennis, bowling, baseball, and many more games that are about familiar games.
After you buy a Wii you will discover people, who do not appreciate the video game addictions, totally getting involved in the experience Wii provides through its technology. The games are not pretentious and even the small children can play the games due to the fact that the levels are based on what your knowledge of the sport and how it is played. It doesn't matter if you have not bowled prior to trying Wii bowling. You will be thrilled at knocking over the virtual pins, even though this does not replace real bowling, but you will get the same excitement and joy of its challenge.
In the past the parents would shop alone for what video game system to purchase, but nowadays the entire family gets to be involved in buying the Wii. Even both genders have representation as far as the game or the style of it is concerned. With the Wii Fit workout program the moms can reap benefits, dads practice their game of golf, and then the kids work on eye hand coordination through playing the games that need concentration. Your library of games will soon overflow due to all the types of games you have to choose from.
Which video game console is better: XBox 360 or PlayStation 3? – Part 9
Ohh such a heated topic, the incredible XBox 360, or the long-awaited Playstation 3? Which one is better, you ask? We all have our opinions, but I support the XBox 360.
I will admit that I do not own a PS3; however, I have had an XBox 360 since its release date. The PS3 is a force to be reckoned with, but nothing compared to the 360. Power-wise, the PS3 might have a bit more torque to it, but that's nothing. Its excellence in power sacrifices its ability to be universal... if you take a look at the PS3's game-choice, the "playlist" is rather skimpy compared to that of the XBox 360.
In choosing a console, you must consider all of the relevant factors, not just some of them. I won't mention any numbers in this argument, for such information can be tampered with at times, but price is a good one. It can be reasonably agreed that the XBox 360 is significantly cheaper in price than the Playstation 3.

Now, some would argue that the increase in price for the PS3 goes towards the excess in graphical quality compared to the XBox 360. Wrong; the average FPS the Playstation 3 operates at is much higher than the human eye is capable of seeing, causing quite an overkill in a relatively non-imperative area. This is not to say that graphics aren't very important, but on that level, they are not. The detail and animating ingenuity the XBox is capable of is even with the PS3; it all comes down to the games, which sparks the true argument and incentive to buy one console over the other.
The games are what sells the systems; you can have an amazing system, sporting more processors than a battleship has weapons, enough freakin' video RAM to drown a power plant, and the best wireless Internet connection the world can offer, but it will be nothing without the games. This is where the XBox pulls ahead of the Playstation in my belief; nothing can compete with games like Halo, Gears of War, Foreza, Ninja Gaiden 2, which is planned to be an XBox exclusive masterpiece... Fable 2, Guitar Hero 3, and whatever else that may strike your individual interest. Sure, the PS3 has God of War, but that's pretty much it. Most everything else the Playstation will be getting, the XBox will be supporting as well. However, many of your favorite, popular titles will be XBox 360 exclusive. So why waste your time driving to your friends house so you can play Halo on his TV, when you could just buy your own, and make your friends drive instead? The answer's simple: there is no reason. The XBox 360 is, all in all, universally and undeniably, a superior system to the Playstation 3.

Nintendo Wii Freeloader – Quickly And Easily Play Your Gamecube Import Games On Your Nintendo Wii – Part 1
Any hard core gamers knows that many of the best games - or at least the most unique games, come right out of Japan. Most of these games never see the light of day in the United States or Europe and gamers are left wanting and drooling for games they'll never have the chance to play. At least that was the case with the Gamecube and now also with the Nintendo Wii. Then along came a little disc called the Freeloader, that allowed any Gamecube to play any Japanese game with ease, with no mod chip required and no need to open your console.
Why do I mention Gamecube and Wii playing import games? Simply because the Nintendo Wii is also compatible with every single Gamecube Game, including the FreeLoader disc. Because the Nintendo Wii can boot Gamecube Discs / games, you can also load the Freeloader and finally take advantage of all of the great Import games on the market. The Nintendo Wii Freeloader is a disc, that allows any Wii owner to play import Gamecube games without a mod chip. As you may have guessed, the Freeloader was not actually manufactured for the Nintendo Wii, but was instead a product that has been out for several years (with various updates) for the Nintendo Gamecube. Since the Wii can play Gamecube games and is backwards compatible, it will also load the FreeLoader on any Wii console allowing you to play any region Gamecube game with ease.
Now, if this were just any kind of disc, I wouldn't write a review on it. And often times, when I talk about import games, people ask me why I would want to play games that are all in Japanese and can't be played anyway. Or ask me what the big deal is with these games from Japan. The fact of the matter is, over 60% of Japanese import games can be played with no problem. I'm a big fan or racing games and some of the BEST racing games for Gamecube have only been released in Japan. The same would go for first person shooters. But more than that, some of the games are just so very unique, so well designed, that you must try them. You'll immediately become an import game fan once you do.

Regardless of the genre of games you like. By being able to play import games, you're actually expanding your software library, or at least the available selection by thousands of additional games. Many of these games you won't hear about at your local Blockbuster, or in magazine. But online review sites like IGN.com or GameSpot.com have entire sections devoted to import games and import gaming, because there are a tremendous amount of great games available.
This brings us back to the Freeloader. The Freeloader was developed by Datel as a means to cut out the need for installing a mod chip in your Gamecube console to have access, and the ability to play these games. Before the Freeloader, you would need to install a Gamecube Mod Chip like the Xeno Gamecube or the Viper Gamecube chip to play your import and personally backed up games. While the Freeloader won't let you play backup games, it will effortlessly allow you to play Import games from any region on any Gamecube.
I want to also say that this is NOT an article to promote the Freeloader as the next best thing since sliced The Legend Of Zelda for the Gamecube or Nintendo Wii. If you're not into Japanese games, or import games in general, and have no interest in them, then the Freeloader is not for you. It doesn't offer any extras or advantages for any Nintendo Wii or Gamecube owner who is happy to just play the offering of games available in their own country. Its sole purpose is to allow gamers like myself, and tens of thousands of others, to enable the playing of Import games. While I am stressing just Japanese games in this article as they are my own personal favorite. European gamers can also play the latest games released only in the USA on their PAL Gamecube or Nintendo Wii systems as well. Gamecube import games are not just from Japan. If you're a fan or Rally racing games, many of the best games in that genre are released in the UK and Europe.
Just how do you use the Gamecube Freeloader on the Nintendo Wii? First of all, think of it as a Nintendo Wii Freeloader. Insert the disc into your Nintendo Wii just as you would your Gamecube, and then select it from your Wii Dashboard. It'll load up, and you'll be greeted by the Freeloader main menu, where you'll have several selections. While it isn't loaded with features that'll blow you away - that is exactly the reason it's so easy to use. I suppose there aren't really a slew of features you could pack in to software that is intended to do just one thing - play import video games. We can thank the simplicity and ease of use due to the few options it has.
The Freeloader is easy to use, both on the Gamecube and the Nintendo Wii console. You simply put the disc in the Gamecube or your Nintendo Wii, wait for it to load and then pick the map representing the region you want to play. You'll then have to eject the disc from your Nintendo Wii, or open the Gamecube lid, and take out the Freeloader, put in the game you want to play and it will just load for you. It couldn't get any easier really.
In closing, the Freeloader for the Gamecube or Nintendo Wii is meant to do one thing, and one thing only. It does it with ease and work perfectly each and every time. It's not intended to do anything else. Comparing it to other software or add ons for either the Gamecube or the Nintendo Wii would be pointless. If you want to start getting the latest import games without having to wait until the hit the local market - if they ever do at all, then the Freeloader is the easiest and cheapest way to get you started.
Where to Buy Cheap Nintendo Wii Online
Extra controllers: Like all recent consoles, the Wii ships with just a single controller (well, one two-part controller: one Wiimote, plus one nunchuk). But the real fun of the system is playing the head-to-head Wii Sports games such as tennis and boxing. To do so, you'll need at least one extra set of controllers--and again, that's one Wiimote ($28.99) plus one nunchuk ($12.99). The Wii supports as many as four, but just the one extra controller set should suffice--at least for Christmas morning.
Rechargeable batteries: The Wiimote takes two standard AA batteries. They're included--with the Wii, and with the sold-separately version of the controller mentioned above--but avid players may find the juice draining pretty quickly, especially if they keep the nunchuk attached (it draws its power from the Wiimote). Instead of buying an endless stream of costly AAs, consider investing in a set of rechargeables. You can score a charger and four rechargeable nickel-metal-hydride batteries for less than $25.
GameCube controllers: The Wii is fully backwards compatible with the Nintendo GameCube, but there's a catch: to play the GameCube games, you'll need a GameCube controller ($15.99). You can even go wireless with the Nintendo WaveBird ($59.99). If you already have a GameCube, your existing controllers will work just fine--just plug them in to one of the four ports underneath the flip-up panel on the Wii's topside. GameCube controllers should also work with the Wii's "Virtual Console" games--which saves you the trouble of having to buy a Classic Controller.

GameCube memory cards: One other annoyance when playing GameCube games: your progress can only be saved to GameCube memory cards, not to the Wii's internal memory or to an SD card (we're hoping Nintendo fixes this with a future firmware update). Like the controllers, your old GC cards will work just fine--there are two slots right next to the GameCube controller ports. If you don't have any onhand (and you want to save your games on GC titles), you'll need to spring for a $26.90 (2GB) memory card.
Wii Points: One of the big attactions of the Wii is its Virtual Console, which lets you purchase classic games that originally came from the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), the Super NES, the Nintendo 64, the Sega Genesis, and the TurboGrafx16. By the end of 2006, at least 30 titles should be available, including Donkey Kong (NES), Super Mario 64 (N64), and Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis). To purchase the downloadable titles, you'll need to use a Nintendo currency known as Wii Points (similar to the Microsoft Points on Xbox Live), which currently have an exchange rate of 100 points per U.S. dollar. You can buy Wii Points directly through the console's online store, or use prepaid cards (2000 Wii Points) available in various denominations.
SD card: If you're close to filling the Wii's built-in 512MB of storage with your Virtual Console games, you can always expand your available space with an SD card. Nintendo sells its own, but any run-of-the-mill card will do. Fairly spacious 1GB cards are available for less than $20--even less with mail-in rebates--and they'll work in plenty of other gadgets as well.
Wireless access point: In addition to the downloadable Virtual Console games, the Wii offers online "channels," including news, weather, and even an Opera Web browser (head-to-head online gaming is said to be coming sometime in 2007). You can get online for free via the Wii's built-in Wi-Fi. To do so, of course, you'll need a nearby wireless access point or router. Alternately, you can plug the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector into any nearby PC on a wired network, and the Wii--plus your Nintendo DS--will be able to use it to get online instead.
Component video adapter: The Wii doesn't have the graphical horsepower to handle high-def graphics, but it can do DVD-level 480p video, which will look considerably better on large HDTVs. To see the Wii's games in 480p, you'll need Nintendo's proprietary component video adapter, which should run about $20.
The Ultimate Gaming System the Super Powerful Xbox 360 by Microsoft
Computer gaming has definitely come a long way from back in 1972 when the game of choice was pong and played on the Atari 2600. Modern technology and video game enhancements have made gaming a serious hobby and a high-tech one as well.
If you have been keeping up with all the advances in the field of computer gaming, you will realize how these advances have been consistent with the advances of high-end technology. Computer gaming has pushed the limits of technology and is credited for many of the advancements in this field for the past generation.
The Xbox 360 is a top performer of this high-powered, top-technology trend. The Xbox 360, from Microsoft is a prime example of how technology has pushed the frontiers of gaming. With a processing power and connectivity that most high end personal computers could only dream of, the Xbox has opened a vista of possibilities never before possible on the older consoles.
Here is a brief rundown of the new features of the Xbox 360.
1. Games that take advantage of the Xbox have increased power and graphical performance. Project Gotham 3, Perfect Dark Zero, Silent Hill 4 and Kameo are only a few of the new games slated to hit the Xbox 360 this year. These games will certainly push the envelope with what is expected of newer generation games.
2. Innovative Accessories. The Xbox has accessories that will make other companies go, I wish I had thought of that. Wireless controllers will allow greater freedom for players to wreak havoc upon the competition. This gives players increased mobility, comfort and enjoyment.
Xbox also integrates internet connectivity so that gaming against a pal who lives across the country or another continent will not have to be a hassle anymore. It is now possible to have search and destroy games among the Xbox community, and you do not even have to leave the confines of your home.
3. Backward Compatibility. The old Xbox games will be fully compatible with the 360. That will amount to over 200 well-loved games from the old Xbox library. This means you will not have to wait for the 360 library to go full stock before wanting to buy one; you could enjoy the old collection along with the new immediately.
4. Mega Power. The Xbox 360 engine runs on three 3.2 GHZ processors. That is a powerful workhorse! This processing power makes the running of complex games a cinch. Many polygon-hungry games will get their fill once they get a load of this much power.
5. Couple that with the 500 MHz ATI graphics processor and you have a tremendously powerful chip that can bring life and action to any game that comes its way.
6. The Xbox 360 is versatile and not only serves as a gaming base, but it also works as a CD/DVD player, further making a case for its price. The Xbox is capable of keeping track of a load of data that you may find indispensable. All these extra features ensure that the Xbox 360 can and will be a faithful entertainment tech companion for a long, long time.
While there are many gaming consoles around, it would pay to consider the strengths and weaknesses of them all. However, there is a consensus among gaming enthusiasts that the most important aspect of any gaming console is the technology, processor speed, memory, storage, along with availability and support of consoles and games.
In this regard, the Xbox 360 has room to boast. With a staff of developers currently at work for Microsoft enhancing the Xbox, gamers are sure to be spellbound for years to come.

Video game reviews: Rockstar Table Tennis (Wii)
Joining the ranks of popular sports video games such as Madden Football and NBA Live, comes the competitive sport known as Rockstar table tennis for the Nintendo wii. The Nintendo wii version is a virtual reality like simulation of table tennis. The game of table tennis is mostly like real tennis, only the pads are smaller and the arena is actually a table. Similar to tennis, players try to hit the ball back and forth to the other opponent until the players opponent is unable to hit the ball back. Strategic wise the game allows the user to outmaneuver the opponent into not hitting the ball back to the opponent, and therefore missing the return serve of the game. Table tennis players are known for their stamina, hand coordination, and of course high speed spinning serves.
Rockstar table tennis is the perfect compliment to wii remote. Most video game players have a choice to use the wii remote in a variety of ways such as the standard version where the gamer uses the remote like a remote or the sharp shooter movement which allows the gamer to use the nun chuck part of the wii remote.Clearly the innovativeness of the wii censor control remote allows the player to pick up and play, as if your forrest gump perfecting the art of table tennis or ping pong as some people may call it. Nintendo wii's version of Rockstar Table tennis has a lot of levels for the gamer to play and has unlockable levels in the game to be unlocked. The addition of more levels allows the gamer to play more tournaments and single one on one championship games. Sadly for all the tournament play in Rockstar table tennis there is no hall of fame or career mode for the game to play. Overall, Rockstar table tennis is the perfect game to play on the Nintendo wii with its addictive use of the wii remote and the competitive use of tournament play.

Nintendo Wii & wii points
Wii Points is a payment system that Nintendo uses for its Wii game console via the Wii Shop Channel. You can buy points via online credit-card transactions or by purchasing a Wii Points card directly at stores. These points are then redeemed in the Wii Shop on downloadable games and other cool wii content.
Instead of taking real money, Nintendo wants you to buy these points to use in their Wii Shop to buy classic games to play on your Wii game console. It's a pretty straight forward process: scrape off the silver area on the back of the card and enter the code to add Wii points to your Wii account, simple right.

The card itself is just flimsy plastic not like any normal plastic credit card you may have, but, so what, that doesn't affect much at all. The wii points system is quick and easy, which is the whole point of the points card. Just make sure you're not paying, at most, $20 for the card, not including tax, because some stores charge more than the MSRP, gee what a surprise.
Buying game gifts can be difficult. It turns out kids are particular about which brand controllers, and games they want, whoa, what a surprise, right. That is exactly why gift cards are so popular now. The Wii points card fit right in, and allows the purchase of downloadable games. As an example, almost every Nintendo wii game may be purchased online using the Wii console and the Wii Points Card. Nice and neat.
Alrighty then, for those who are curious about whether it is possible to get free Wii points, good news, because you can as long as you put in a little effort. There are a few online sites that do pay out in Wii points but you will have to open an account with them and then answer surveys, your reward, a certain number of Wii points. The trick of course lies in collecting sufficient amount of Nintendo Wii points after which you can shop for whatever cool wii gadgets you want.
We love the Wii Sports game that came with the wii console but we would like some full version games that are just as fun as the Wii Sports. We have rented a couple games but they were a bust, so any info would be appreciated! Thanks!
Fix Xbox 360 Freezing Up Problem

Xbox 360 freezing up is a general problem. Internet says, Around 1 million people are facing with Xbox 360 freezing up problem. Microsoft announced in July 2007 that 5% of all gaming consoles sold are failing and the rest have a chance of failure.
If you need some help regarding Xbox 360 freezing up problem, and would like to repair your Xbox 360 once and for all, this article will tell you the exact steps.
The cause of Xbox 360 freezing up
Your green lights will turn into 3 red lights that begin flashing when your GPU (graphics processing unit) comes loose. The GPU (which is on the motherboard) comes loose as the motherboard heats up. As the motherboard heats up it begins to vibrate. These vibrations loosen the soldering holding the GPU in place, and every time it comes loose you get your Xbox 360 freezing up.
This article will help you with Xbox 360 freezing up and overheating, but before you do anything, know this: the towel fix you may have read about is bogus. It will damage your Xbox 360 and make the problem worse. 94% of red light error Xbox 360s does not need new parts, just a little tweak to fix them.
If you use the "towel" fix, you might risk permanent damage and you may no longer be able to repair your Xbox 360 freezing up on your own (you will need to send it in for repairs for sure). You have been warned.
Whatever you do, don't do anything. Xbox 360 freezing up will not go away on its own. Once you get Xbox 360 freezing up, you will keep getting the 3 flashing red lights until you fix your system.

Value of 35 dollars new.
Is the investment in the Wii a worthwhile one? – Part 2
As an employee of a current retail location that sells them, I have decided to call the Wii, the famous and ever elusive Wii. Every single day of my life since the Wii first came out for sale at retail locations, the same question I get over and over is if we have any Wii's, in about three different languages. Nine times out of ten, the answer to this question is no.
As the owner of four gaming consoles when I ask myself, is the Wii worth it, I must say yes it most definitely is. When you really think about the price of a Wii and compare it to past and current gaming consoles, you come to realize that the Wii actually isn't very expesnive. The Sony PSP made its debut on the gaming scene at the same price that the Wii, as a gaming CONSOLE, is. Even when you compare it to the prices of the numerous editions of Xbox 360's and PS3's you have to consider the fact that Wii is still substantially less than the others, granted you do take a hit in graphics quality.
In my opinion, buying a Wii is definitely worth it if you think about it in terms of how much use you are going to get out of it. The games are fun and interactive, where games on other consoles are just fun but not nearly as interactive unless you're playing DDR, Guitar Hero or some games on PS3 where you incorporate the SIXAXIS into play. One of the greatest attributes that the Wii has in its favor IS that it is fully interactive to the point where you can even work out with it. I mean just think, instead of your kids sitting in a comfy chair all day playing Kindgom Hearts or Halo, they can be standing up and dancing around or swinging tennis rackets...moving their bodies so that they don't get lazy or skip out on any vital exercise routine that finds its way into their days through other things like neighborhood play. Since the Wii can be fun for everyone, I tend to believe that it can be especially fun on family nights or at parties where you can battle against your best friends. It can also be fun to watch kids battle their parents on games like Smarty Pants and Big Brain Academy, where your not only exercising your brain but having fun while doing it.
One of the other great things about the Wii is it's audience factor meaning that virtually anyone can play the Wii, have fun, AND be good at it. It is so hard to not have fun on the wii, actually I would challenge someone to find otherwise. The games available, though not comparable to say Halo, are featured alongside a great selection including Super Paper Mario, Geometry Wars, Cooking Mama, and eveb Prince of Persia. Even if you are an old school gamer the Wii offers you the chance to purchase original NES games like Legend of Zelda, Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania as well as other games that appeared on SNES, as well as backwards compatibility with the Gamecube.
If you are considering investing in a Wii or are just looking around for something to buy to use in your spare time I would definitely reccomend the purchase of this console. It's replay value is off the charts. It will keep you going back for more and will help you to factor in the whole family too!

Nintendo Wii Accessories: How does it effect the gameplay?
Nintendo Wii is a ground breaking Console. The Wii's popularity comes from the fact that it gives the gamers interactive play, with the game as well as much needed exercise, never seen before. All age groups are finding themselves using the Nintendo Wii and the accessories that go with it.

The purchase of the Nintendo Wii includes a Nunchuck, which is the Wii remote, and the Wii sports gaming pack. There are a range of other accessories that are also available that can increase your enjoyment of this wonderful gaming console. You can also have up to 4 controllers at the same time.

There are a lot of different Nintendo Wii accessories, based on the game play needed. Different games have different accessories to increase the game play. The standard console comes with the Nunchuck which can be turned on its side and used like the old controllers.
Enter the Wii Zapper.
What the Wii zapper does is integrate the Nunchuck and the standard Wii remote, making it look like a gun with a trigger. The Wii zapper also comes with Link's crossbow training. This add on of the Nintendo Wii accessories can be used with games like House of The Dead, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, and Medal of Honor
The Wii zapper retails for $19.99
Wii Perfect Shot Gun
Wii accessories manufacturer Nyko came up with a controller that looks like the traditional handgun. You just have to attach the Wii remote to activate the B button to start playing.
Nintendo Wii Front Man Wireless Guitar
This wireless guitar allows the wannabe rocker to party like a top rock start using the guitar hero III game. The best part is there are no wires to get caught up in.
But if you want to get the best from you Nintendo Wii accessories, then get Legends of Rock Bundle and you will transfer yourself into your own rockstar.
Nintendo Wii on its own, is a power console. Combine it with great accessories that are available and you are onto a winner. Its great to see other companies creating add ons to the game to increase the enjoyment of it.
Mii avatars for the Nintendo Wii video gamers
The Nintendo Mii avatars is one of the best features of the Nintendo Wii video game. Not only are you actively doing the activities in each game as you are seeing yourself in the game. Video games are best known for allowing a person to step into a virtual world by way of a controller. Now players can literally see themselves in this virtual world, adding more to this virtual experience.

The player is allowed more control as to who they want to be in a game, giving them more control that they had in previous games with already made avatars.
If you want to (and have the time), you can make your favorite celebrities become your avatar through easy step by step tutorials. Just click here http://www.wiiwii.tv/tag/celeb rity-mii-avatars/ and see for yourself.
Additionally, the Mii avatars give you a chance to become creative. Rather than being stuck with a character who probably doesn't have the same skin tone or facial features as you do, you can create one for yourself and all of your friends. This makes a baseball game all the more fun when you can see your friend batting rather than an avatar you don't even really know.
The avatar creation section becomes a new exciting game in itself as you become involved in how your avatar looks. It's not just a feature but a whole new gaming experience. I mean, how great is it to see your own Mii when you are playing with the Wii boxing. Seeing your opponent (it could be your friend's face) cry while you are beating them is priceless.
Speculating on the future of video games – Part 1

It started with a simple set of two-dimensional paddles and a ricocheting ball. Pong, with just three rudimentary objects on the entire screen, was part of the first movement that brought video games into the limelight. Soon after came the black and white space classic Asteroids, bringing a host of new motions; instead of being able to just move a paddle up or down, you could fire a weapon, move freely around the screen, and interact with numerous other objects.
Within a few years, the Nintendo Entertainment System came out and Super Mario Brothers brought color, larger worlds, more interaction, and improved sound quality. By the time the 1990s rolled around, video games had begun advancing at a rapid pace, cementing themselves as a mainstay of American popular culture.
The current situation of gaming is one of a revolution - the X-Box 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii are all taking great steps forward in graphics, world sizes, and realism. Standing out in the current group is the Wii which allows gamers to use their own physical motions to play the game. To play a baseball game, swing the Wii remote as you would a real bat and move your arm in the same motion as that you would use to throw a ball (just make sure you do not actually throw the remote). It is this type of system - this concept - that embodies the future of video gaming.
As the Wii has been out for only a short time, it has only scratched the surface of what it may be capable of. As more types of games jump into the mix and as more feedback is gathered, the Wii's potential of being almost virtual reality will continue to be realized. The Wii's controller is designed best for first-person games and sports games. Still, it essentially focuses exclusively on the actions of the arms.
Eventually, system developers will try to find ways to incorporate the rest of the body into the action. The motions of the legs, running and jumping, are essential for progressing the lifelike concept brought by the Wii. Beyond the arms and legs, the full-body motions of the head and torso are likely to be addressed. They are essential for a true simulation of sports like basketball and football, fighting games, fantasy games, and a host of others.
One of the most highly anticipated titles today is the Wii version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The ability to use the game's remote as the character's lightsaber is intriguing, to say the least. Now imagine adding the ability to bend
What Wii games would you reccomed for a female that wants simplicity?
I always loved Super Mario Brothers and Sonic the Hedgehog before they went 3-D. I just got a Wii, any games you can recommend that I might like? I have the super popular Zelda Wii game but its concept is somewhat more than I feel like dealing with when playing video games... .

Nintendo Wee
In praise of the Nintendo Wii

What can I say about the Nintendo Wii? It is awesome! I have been wanting a Wii for quite a while. My video game freak cousin bought one when they first came out and I'd had the pleasure of playing his several times and enjoyed it so much. The only game I had played on his was Wii Sports. Wii Sports is a game where you can participate in such activities as bowling, baseball and tennis among others.
This past Christmas my parents pulled through and bought me a Wii and let me tell you I was thrilled! The minute my boyfriend and I got home from my parent's house Christmas day we hooked it up and haven't stopped playing since. It's just so much fun. The best part about the Wii is that it gets you up and moving. You're not just sitting on the couch playing a video game, you're standing up bowling in your living room or playing guitar in your own Rock Band.
A few weeks ago my mom and sister finally found a Wii Fit and picked it up. I'd heard so much about Wii Fit and had played some of the games at my friend's house. I had been looking all over for it, but was unable to find one. Let me just tell you Wii Fit is a real workout. I never in a million years thought a video game would make me sweat, but it did. Wii fit allows you to track your weight and BMI on a daily basis. Make sure you go on it every day too, or they might not be too happy with you. You can do a series of yoga poses, strength building exercises, aerobic activities and balance games. It helps you to get into shape and tone your body. It also helps you work on your posture and your balance.
Another fun aspect of the Wii is that you can download old school Nintendo and Sega games right to your Wii console. They have all the classics like Super Mario Brothers, Yoshi's Island, Castlevania, Dig Dug, and Sonic to name a few. It's like going back in time and getting to play all those video games you enjoyed as a child. You have to buy the Wii points, but you can get about 1000 for ten bucks and that gets you two of the old school games, so it's totally worth it.
The great thing about the Wii is that anyone can do it, it crosses the generations. A five year old can play the Wii right along with their eighty five year old grandparent. It's so easy and so fun that everyone in the family will get something out of the Wii console. If you're on the fence about whether or not to buy a Wii I will strongly reccomend this purchase. In all my twenty seven years, I can say that the Wii is the best Christmas present I've ever recieved.

The 10 Ultimate Reasons To Get The Xbox 360
You hear all the hype – all the time. PS3 is the best – no, forget that, it has to be the Wii, or no, no, no, it’s the Xbox guys. You know what? I’m here to lay the hype to rest. The best system is the Xbox 360 and this article will give you 10 solid reasons explaining why. Ready…
Now don’t get me wrong, gaming systems from Sony and Nintendo are good – solid titles, graphics yada yada yada. BUT, when it comes to really getting the maximum out of your gaming system than the Xbox 360 has them all beat.
In the Xbox 360, Microsoft has created a beast that just keeps getting better and better. Sure, they are problems with some of the technology, but then again, show me a piece of technology that always runs perfectly and I’ll eat my Xbox!
Whether it is titles, graphics or its brilliant ability to link to other players, LIVE, around the world in real-time, the Xbox 360 wins hands down! Here are my top 10 reasons for you to choose the 360 before any other system.
1. The Xbox360 come with awesome wireless connections which I just love. Letting you remain in control from over 30 feet away, I find this feature perfect for those long gaming sessions when you get tired of staying in the same position. It definitely helps my gaming!
2. The games list is just awesome – and keeps getting better. Not only are some of the best games ever written available on the 360, but many amazing titles are written exclusively for the Xbox 360.
3. The Xbox Live feature is truly revolutionary – you get to play multiplayer games against opponents from all over the world. You can create gamer tags for id, make avatars, create a friends list, set up a rating system, keep track of your achievements and so much more. This alone makes the Xbox 360 the best.
4. If you are thinking of upgrading from the Xbox and are worried about the games that you have already bought, worry not. Over 200 Xbox games are compatible with the Xbox 360!
5. The Xbox Live feature also lets you tap into an awesome arcades marketplace. Here you can try free games, ultra cheap games and more. The possibilities are endless.
6. Xbox 360 graphics just rock! The 360 runs three (three!) 3.2 GH processors that run with a 500MhzATI graphics processor. You want power? Need I say more?
7. Remember, the Xbox 360 is more than just gaming. It is also an all-round entertainment system so you can watch movies, download music and play your own CDs as well.
8. The Xbox 360 plugs you right into the heart of the game development world. You get the opportunity to download demos, and bonus packs from game developers. This is a great feature that lets you tap into the latest cutting-edge gaming developments.
9. The Xbox 360 keeps track of your gaming history – lets you easily recall scores, favorite games, images and so on.
10. The Headset feature lets you chat in real time to friends and fellow gamers around the world. Imagine chatting to teammates and opponents while playing? How cool is that?
11. Oh yeah – I’ll throw in one more reason as well – the Xbox 360 just looks cool. Not only that, you can easily mod it with different face plates as well. If you want your gaming gear to look good then you have no choice.
If those 10 (sorry, 11!) reasons don’t persuade you then you must be lacking some serious gaming passion. If you want to take your gaming to the next level then the Xbox 360 is the only game in town. Enjoy!

Games For Nintendo Wii Are As Unique As The Wii Itself

The ever changing video game industry took a giant leap when Nintendo released the Wii in late 2006. Unlike previous video game releases from Nintendo, and others, the Wii’s distinguishing features were not improved graphics, or faster game speed, or any of the countless other innovations that have dotted the gaming landscape. Instead, Nintendo’s Wii has ushered in a new way to play video games with its revolutionary control system.
The controller of the Wii system is a hand-held, wireless remote control that has the ability to sense movements in all directions. Instead of using a traditional joystick, players move, point, swing, and gesture with the remote control, and those movements are detected by infrared sensors on the game console. The result is an interactive gaming experience that can not be had on any game system, especially when you are playing games for the Nintendo Wii because they are designed to take full advantage of all that the Wii has to offer.
Wii Sports is a game that features five game simulations – tennis, golf, baseball, boxing, and bowling – and the natural movements in sports make for a great platform for the Wii to strut its stuff, so it should come as no surprise that Nintendo included Wii Sports with each purchase of a Wii system. However, it is the games for Nintendo Wii that are not included with the game system that continue to drive people to the stores and online retailers.
At the top of the list of games for Nintendo Wii is Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which is the latest in a series of Zelda games, but the first that is compatible with the Wii system. Launched alongside the Wii, Zelda allows loyal fans to continue their adventures in ways that only the Wii can allow. Medal of Honor: Vanguard is another new release of an old favorite. Medal of Honor continues its realistic World War II “shoot em” action, while in another release everyone’s favorite hedgehog makes his Wii debut in Sonic and the Secret Rings.
Hardcore gamers consider one of the best games for Nintendo Wii to be WarioWare: Smooth Moves. Considered to be an ideal platform for all the Wii can do, WarioWare is another game that continues on an existing series. WarioWare relies on a series of microgames – games based on simple movements that can often last only a few seconds each. The player is given rapid game scenarios with instructions that hint at the required action. Making the correct movements allows the player to move on to the next game, whereas too many mistakes will force the player to start over. The concept of movements as the key to success makes this one of the most ideal games for Nintendo Wii.
Countless new games for Nintendo Wii are sure to hit the market, especially as the popularity of the game platform is growing. Regardless of the theme of the game, the unique controller is sure to make all future games for the Nintendo Wii unlike anything one could play with any other gaming system.
How to Fix Xbox 360 Freezing Up

Before we start, I would suggest you to check a professional Xbox 360 repair guide with videos and picture. A good Xbox 360 freezing repair guide will show you everything step by step, which can really help you through this process.
Steps to fix Xbox 360 freezing:
1. Take your case apart. Using a fine tip poker, poke the grayed out holes (they are the latches holding it together) and at the back poke the tiny rectangle holes. Take the faceplate off and move the latch up on the DVD drive up as you remove it. Unscrew the metal case that is just under the plastic case.
2. Get the DVD drive out and unplug the cables.
3. Get the fan off and the motherboard out.
4. Flip the motherboard over, and, using the poker, pry off the X-clamp under the heat sink by popping up the corners. The heat sink is the big silver box with slits in it.
5. Unscrew the heat sink to reveal the CPU and GPU.
6. Clean the GPU and CPU (critical step to stopping Xbox 360 freezing)
7. Apply arctic silver thermal compound (you can find a $1 tube of this at any computer store) generously over the GPU.
8. Now Let it set for 15 minutes.
9. Put 2 nylon washers on each of the screws from the heat sink. Put the screws back in the motherboard. Now, with the screws pushing up through the motherboard, add 2 more nylon washers to the screws.
10. Put the heat sink on top of the screws, pushing them down a little, then screw them up. Make sure they are tight. This is will really help with Xbox 360 freezing.
11. Now put everything back together. Turn it on.
There, you should now have fixed your Xbox 360 freezing.
If you need help with pictures or videos, again, I suggest you check out an Xbox 360 freezing repair guide.

Setting Up Your Nintendo Wii Made Easy – Part 1

So you’ve just excitedly rushed home from the shop with your new Nintendo Wii, opened the box and then stopped dead in your tracks - because it’s just occurred to you that you haven’t the faintest idea how to setup Nintendo Wii. This article is here to help you with this process; it’s easier than it looks, so don’t worry!
Starting to Setup Wii
First you’ll need to determine how you want the orientation of your Nintendo Wii. The Wii can sit either vertically or horizontally. If you want to place your unit vertically, place the Wii in the control plate which will be included in the box. What you need to consider here is the space available in your entertainment center and the best way to orient your Wii to ensure that it has sufficient air flow to remain cool.
Plug in Wii
After this, you need to plug in your Wii to both your outlet and to the television set. Check the back or perhaps the front of your TV to see what manner of A/V connections is present. Once you’ve found these, plug the correct cord from the Wii into the corresponding plug on your television.
The next step is to plug the AC adapter included with your Wii into the wall outlet and then into the back of your Nintendo Wii console. If you are in, or plan to travel to Europe, remember to use the proper AC adapter - using the wrong type can damage your Wii.
After you setup Nintendo Wii to be connected to your television and to your power, the next thing to do is to plug in the sensor bar to your unit. Find the sensor bar jack on your Wii and plug in the cord there. You must then find a spot to place the sensor bar where the controllers can properly orient themselves to it. The sensor bar has infrared light emitters which the controllers need to receive so you will need an unobstructed sight line between the two. Ideally, you will place your sensor bar in the middle of your TV, which will make it easy for the controllers to align themselves.
The next thing to do to setup Nintendo Wii is to get the controllers up and running. Each controller uses two AA batteries. Install these in the controllers, put a game in your Wii console and then turn on the unit. Make sure that your television set is tuned to channel 3 and you should be ready to go. Follow the instructions which will appear on your screen to finish controller setup and you’re off!
If you are unsure about any step to setup Nintendo WIi in your home, just consult the helpful list below:
• Place Your Wii properly - decide whether to place your Wii vertically or horizontally depending on your available space and air flow for the console.
• Plug your Wii in to your television and to a wall outlet using the adaptor included.
• Plug in your sensor bar and place it in a central location on top of your television set.
• Place AA batteries in your controllers and put a game in your Nintendo Wii unit.
• Turn on the console, turn your television to channel 3 and follow the instructions to complete setup.
• Have fun!

What Can You Get Out Of The Latest Version Of Nintendo Wii
With a price tag of $250 or less, Nintendo's Wii is reputed to be cheaper than most seventh generation game consoles. It also aims for a wider market demographic than its competitors. Hence, it is equipped with the capacity to be compatible with other platforms including the Internet.
Coming at only a few millimeters in height and width, the Wii is the smallest game console to ever rollout from Nintendo. And at only 2.7 pounds, it is the lightest among the present game consoles on the market. What's more, the Wii can be placed in a horizontal or a vertical orientation; so there is no reason for you not to find a perfect space and position to keep it.
While the best features it may have to offer are its ability to receive messages and updates online via WiiConnect24 and its low electrical consumption, the following are some more of the unique features that Wii has to offer.
One-Handed Controller
A striking feature about Nintendo's Wii is the remote controller that can be used with only one hand. The controller makes use of infrared sensors and accelerometers that are super sensitive to the user's movements and can detect the way it is positioned in a three dimensional platform. With this controller, a gamer can play using his or her movements rather than mere button-pressing.
The controller also features force feedback technology wherein players can feel vibrations to better simulate the game being played in a real world scenario. Best of all, Wii controller has an internal speaker that enhances the feel of the game being played. Wii also comes with a nunchuk unit for that more traditional touch of an analog stick and trigger buttons.
Equipped with Bluetooth, the Wii controller is connected to the console without the limitations posed by cords. And it can also be connected to other devices thru a port located under the controller.
Retro-Compatibility
Wii offers retro or backward compatibility with Nintendo GameCube software and some hardware. This means you can enjoy GameCube games on your Wii. The console comes with four GameCube controller panels as the Wii remote controller can't be used for GameCube games. It also has a slot for GameCube memory cards if you want to save games.
Parental Restrictions
The Wii console comes equipped with parental control capability. Parents can prohibit very young kids from playing games with unsuitable contents. Wii automatically checks the content rating of games being played. If a game doesn't meet the restrictions set, Wii won't load the game unless an override password is keyed in.
Buy a Nintendo Wii
It was called "Nintendo Revolution". Nintendo Wii is the Nintendo Version that plays NTSC and encodes any disc format. With its cool look, the latest Japanese console is made of top-notch materials and comes with a compact, witty design.
Nintendo has taken on the approach of improving its entire system and not just taking from what their competition released. The Nintendo Wii controller that is special-motion sensitive.
The difference is that you can punch, drive or strike a sword by turning your wrist instead of pushing the button.
Its size is three DVD cases piled atop another. It is available in a silver stand, enabling the system to be displayed horizontally or vertically.
If you have been a Nintendo fan over the years, this console can play games compatible with the Nintendo GameCube. It can also download fan-favorite titles from the past 20 years for Nintendo 64 and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).
The Wii costs at around $250. This rate is cheaper than the Microsoft Xbox 360 and way cheaper than Sony PlayStation 3. The packaging of the Nintendo Wii includes a sports game that is quite addictive. That alone will let you feel first-hand what the system's controller is all about.
In recent news, Nintendo Wii has outsold Sony's PlayStation 3. Both components were released toward the end of the year (the former was available mid-November while the latter in mid-December).
There was a speculation that PlayStation 3 will be the best-selling game console all over the world. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
Nintendo has managed to ship 4 million Wii's worldwide on December 31. That is twice the number of PlayStation 3's promised to deliver. As 2006 closed down, Nintendo had already sold 600,000 Wii eight days after it debuted on November 19.
It could be the price. Nintendo Wii can be purchased at $250 whereas a Sony PlayStation 3 costs $600.
If all these have sparked your interest, you can buy Nintendo Wii in your local stores. You can also buy them online :www.amazon.com and www.bestbuy.com. You can compare prices from one store to another. Some sell them cheaper than the standard price.

A Nintendo Wii Bundle Is A One Stop Shop
By now you have certainly heard of the revolutionary new video game platform, the Nintendo Wii. Unlike anything that has come before it, the Wii makes the players part of the game with its revolutionary new control system. The Wii controller is a wireless remote control that senses movements in three dimensions. That remote sensing technology allows you to eschew the conventional buttons and joysticks that have been the standard for video games for decades. Instead, of pushing buttons or moving a stick, you move your arms; gesturing, swinging, poking, and sometimes flailing your way through the game! If you want to experience this amazing new game platform for yourself it can be difficult to know exactly what to purchase in order to have everything you need to enjoy the Wii experience. That is why the Nintendo Wii bundle is such an enticing option.
Purchased by itself, the Wii comes with a remote control – officially called a Wiimote – and a Nunchuk controller; an analog joystick that attaches to the Wiimote using a long cable. The Nunchuk also has the internal accelerometer that the Wiimote possesses, so it too is capable of motion sensing as well. The Nunchuk is to be used in conjunction with the Wiimote and it serves to enhance the game play experience. Further, the Wii includes all the power cords, audio-video cords, and the sensor bar and stands that you need to get started. Most important, the Wii includes Wii Sports, a game that lets you test your skills on the golf course, baseball diamond, bowling alley, boxing ring, and tennis court; it is the perfect platform to demonstrate the things the Wii can do. However, for those who want to see all the Wii is capable of doing, then you need more than the basic offerings, and a Nintendo Wii Bundle can deliver precisely that.
A Nintendo Wii Bundle is a package deal that is available at various retailers such as Gamestop, EB Games, and Wal-Mart. A typical Nintendo Wii Bundle includes all the basics that accompany a basic Wii purchase, but with many valuable extras. For example, the Nintendo Wii bundle available at Gamestop includes additional memory, an additional remote control, a twelve month product replacement plan, and 6 additional games; Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Red Steel, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, and Madden NFL 2007. The Nintendo Wii Bundle from Wal-Mart, and other retailers, follows a similar vein, but the included games can vary. For example, Wal-Mart offered four additional games in their Nintendo Wii bundle, and at a lower price that reflects the fewer included game titles.
A Nintendo Wii bundle is the perfect way to begin experiencing the fun and excitement the Wii has to offer. If you are purchasing a Wii as a gift for someone else and you are not a game savvy person, a Nintendo Wii bundle is a very attractive option because you can be certain that the recipient will not only have all the hardware they need to play, they will have a great selection of games as well. Depending on where you shop you might find that the Nintendo Wii bundle has been a hot seller and is currently not being offered. However, careful and thorough shopping will let you find a Nintendo Wii bundle deal that is available and with a selection of games that fits your needs and budget.

Total Freedom with the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

Game controllers used to be tied done by bulky cables that forced gamers to plug and unplug their controllers into their console. However, with advancements in the transmission of wireless data, Microsoft was able to fit a access for their Xbox 360 system. If you would like to be free from the clutter of wires, check out an Xbox 360 wireless controller.
Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Features
The Xbox 360 wireless controller has many different features that gamers should find very appealing. Lets look into them in detail:
1. Up to four wireless controllers - Games can use up to four wireless controllers at any given time. They also have a range of thirty feet for access. This could very helpful for any games using the larger screens. This would allow you to sit back in comfort and play from a distance rather than having to be in cable distance.
2. Headset Port - For online gaming, the Xbox 360 wireless controller comes with a headset port, This allows you to hook your headset to the controller to transmit the data back to the bass unit.
This streamlines the Xbox Live service, and gamers will have much more freedom and be more effective while playing games.
The integrated Xbox 360 guide button allows gamers access online menus so that they can check other online players statistics and achievements, something that has become a major part of the Xbox 360 game advantage.
3. Improved battery life - The controller has had the expected battery life improved and recharging (or replacing) the batteries as easy as possible.
4. New left and right shoulder buttons are designed for ease of use - An improvement over previous design.
5. Adjustable vibration settings - This allows gamers to preserve battery charge by using less power. Vibrations in controllers have been used for years now to enjoy games, but gamers can now preserve battery charge by lowering the settings.
Also the Xbox 360 wireless controller also has a built in warning light so that when battery power is getting low, they have plenty of time to recharge the batteries. (2 AA batteries)
My prediction for recharging is that they will go the same way as up the quality PC mouse cordless mouse, which will only require plugging into the base unit, and no batteries at all.
The Xbox 360 wireless controller is a huge upgrade over the pervious wired models. Long range and power control features set this controller above the rest, and other smaller enhancements like the headset port really make it a major advancement compared to the previous Xbox.
If you're still using a wired controller, you owe it to yourself to buy the new Xbox 360 wireless controller - it is the future here now.
Is The Xbox 360 Really The Most Popular Game System On The Planet
The Xbox 360 soon became the most popular thing on the planet. You can have every game from fighting to racing and you don't even have to get up to turn the game on. All you do is push the Xbox sign on your controller and you are good to start playing the game. If you didn't know that already then you need to go out and buy an Xbox 360. There are over 200 games that you can play and all are good games and have good graphics. If you do not like video games then you should not be reading this article.
So many people wanted Xbox 360s when they first came out that in Virginia a place got robbed at gun point by someone who wanted an Xbox 360. They go their gaming system and probably also got Christmas in jail as well. If you like gaming then you need an Xbox system they are expensive but they are well worth the price and what they can give you on a rainy boring day. They can give you the pleasure of gaming and being able to not be bored and to play games that you like to play.
People are so dumb that I heard of a story in which this kid had bought an Xbox and then held it out the window to show every that he had bought an Xbox. Well it wasn't long until he dropped it and someone else ran up and jacked it. All he probably did was drop it and someone saw him drop it and then ran up and ran off with a brand new Xbox 360. People are so dumb these days that they will do anything to get attention even drop their brand new Xbox 360.
There are all kinds of things that can happen when something brand new is coming out on the market and everyone wants one. You will have the occasional robbery and someone getting mugged for their brand new Xbox 360.
If you want an Xbox 360 and you do not want to pay full price for it your best bet in getting a good price and a good Xbox is for you to go to a Pawn shop and look for them there. If they do not have any then you are just going to have to buy a brand new Xbox which isn't a bad idea anyway.
Even though someone might have robbed someone else for their brand new Xbox there is nothing that they can do now to stop then unless they got them on film. What they are probably going to do with that Xbox is keep it for them or go sell it to a pawn shop because they will get cash for a brand new Xbox. They will be thinking that they cannot even get caught even though that is true they will get caught if they got caught stealing the Xbox from its rightful owner.

Which video game console is better: PlayStation 3 or Wii? – Part 9
I think interactive is what people wanted and that's what they got with the Wii. It's what was in demand. The PS3 failed because not enough people cared about good graphics or shooter games.
People wanted a family-friendly, educational, and a console that got people off the couch while playing video games. Parents were more willing to buy this kind of console because it made them exercise and it didn't rot their brains with violence and gore. Kids wanted it because it was interactive and they could play it more because parents actually approved of a video game console for once. Single adults wanted it because it is really fun to play in groups. Senior citizens sort of wanted it because there are less buttons to get confused over.
The games available for it also helped with it's popularity. Wii Sports, the game the comes with the Wii when you buy it, is a simple, interactive game that let's you play the main sports of the world while utilizing the sensitivity of the Wiimote. Tennis is the most popular of the sports. Among the people I know including my mom, Tennis was the most fun experience they had with any game they've ever played. Wii Play, another one of the first games that came out for the Wii, made you use brain your while Wii Sports made you use your body. Cooking Mama, best for avid fans of the culinary arts, used the Wiimote's sensitivity to make you use your brain as well as your body. In this game, it's all about precision and energy. In a new game that just came out, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, you can use the Wii's Wi-Fi connectivity to play with people around the world. In games that are coming soon, Wii Fit and Endless Ocean, you can utilize the educational and healthy exercise programs these games offer.
You can also turn the off using the Wiimote. This function just goes to show that the Wii really uses its wireless part. The wireless factor also makes it easier to put away the controllers. No wires means less tangling for you to sort out. It's also easier to put Cd's in it. The Wii will just suck up the game you put in. The PS3 may also have this function, but the Wii does it cooler. It's backward function allows you to play Gamecube games as well. That's for those who want to play Gamecube games. Just plug a Gamecube controller into the top, put in a Gamecube CD and you can start playing. Although nothing compares to actually being outside and doing things, the Wii gets pretty darn close.
I'm donating any money I make to the NAA, because my brother has Autism and I love him very much.
Comparing Playstation 3 and XBOX 360
There are many things that the Sony Playstation 3 will hold over the Microsoft Xbox 360. There are many things that the Microsoft Xbox 360 will hold over the Sony Playstation 3. However, it is the Nintendo Wii that already has the upper hand on both consoles.
But, the Xbox 360 will come a distant second. The Playstation 3 will be a distant third. Though there are things that make the Playstation 3 superior over the Xbox 360, there are several fatal flaws.
From what I have seen and observed, the Playstation 3 has far more capabilities than the Xbox 360 has.
From these specs, the Playstation 3 is better than the Xbox 360. These are things I have learned:
The Playstation 3 is backwards compatible. So far, the Playstation 3 can play Playstation 2 games. However, it is not just Playstation 2 games. You can play your Playstation 1 games on your Playstation 3.
As a person that still has Playstation 1 games, the Playstation 3 scores an extra plus with me. All of my original Playstation 1 games are fighting games. As a fighting game fanatic, I do keep my Playstation 1 games.
I could sell off my Playstation 2 and buy a Playstation 3. It saves me space of having to keep a Playstation 1 and a Playstation 2. Unfortunately, the Microsoft Xbox 360 is not backwards compatible with most of the regular Xbox games. Also, getting the certain Xbox games to play on the Xbox 360 is a major pain in the back. This is one of the flaws that the Microsoft Xbox 360 possesses. The Sony Playstation 3 does not possess that one flaw.
If you are into Blu-Ray technology, you can buy a Playstation 3 and not worry about getting a Blu-Ray player. You cannot play Blu-Ray on a DVD player. You cannot play Blu-Ray on a Playstation 2. You would need a Blu-Ray player to play Blu-Ray discs. With a Playstation 3, you can play both DVD and Blu-Ray.
Xbox 360 only has DVD capability and not Blu-Ray capability.
