Can I get a free wii remote jacket?

I bought a Wii after they began including the remote jacket. Therefore my Wii console serial number does not qualify for the free remote jacket offer. I later bought wiiplay which includes a remote without remote jacket. People who purchased a wii before they began including the remote jacket are able to order jackets for all wiimotes they own, not just the one that came with the console. Has anyone in a similar situation obtained a free remote jacket?

Try calling into nintendo’s wii jacket hotline. I called in quite a while ago and they didn’t ask for my serial number. You can try that.

if that doesn’t work, try to have one of your friends that bought the wii before it included the jacket and have them order an extra one for you. THats the only thing i can think of.
Im sure if u send an email or something to Nintendo of America, they will understand. I got somethings that they sent to me damaged and missing replaced for free.
