At least in the top 5 games to play when high.
That’s an absolute true, and great examples of it are Metroid Prime Corruption and especially Super Mario Galaxy, the game with the best graphics on the Wii system. But not in terms of graphics Nintendo has managed to make a smart use of the Wii’s features; they have also managed to give their games completely intituive and impressive, truly engaging gameplay that mave made of their games real and very fun games.
he says that when PS3 and XBOX360 games are just “shifted” to Wii, they end up looking like bad dreamcast/PS1 games. that’s because the Wii isnt HD or graphically stunning. and Nintendo games make good use of the strengths AND limitations of the Wii.

With that being said (in my last reply), again I say: I guess it’s true that GCR praises things like graphics, much more than things like the gameplay and the game content. Graphics are not a game’s most important ingredient; the most important thing in a game is, of course, the gameplay. =D
Yeah, he compares Wii’s graphics (in some games) to those on the Dreamcast or the PS1, and later, he says that games made by Nintendo have made their games with graphics that are great enough to impress one’s eye (especially mentioning Metroid Prime 3). With that, he praises Nintendo not only for making good games, but also because they do worry about making their games with nice graphics – a huge example is Mario Galaxy. But, why talking about graphics if that’s not the most important thing? =)
But hear 1:30 thru 1:50 you’ll see how doe’s the Dreamcast Have Bad Graphic’s???And the PS1 Had the best graphic’s of it’s time these people talk as if graphic’s Are Absolute….

I wouldn’t say so… If you listen to this review, you’ll hear the commenter saying “Wii might not have HD quality images or stunning graphics, but Nintendo has managed to smartly make fun and great videogames” (Well, not exactly that, but something like that, heh heh!) Anyway, I guess it’s true: GCR praises more those games with lots of graphics rather than those with less graphics but with great gameplay.
At the same time, not because a game has stunning graphics it will always mean a game will be a bad or a boring videogame. There are some great games that have combined impressive graphics with impressive gameplay, and one great example is Resident Evil 4 – that game is really awesome and it combines both elements in a very smart way!

That’s an ABSOLUTE true! It does happen that sometimes a game has really stunning graphics, but low and/or poor content. The same I thought when I first saw your comment: Super Mario Bros. is probably the greatest legend in videogames… Why? Not because it was too realistic, but because of it’s gameplay and it’s contents, which were like none other and were really, really fun; and even up to these days, it’s a game delighted by lots of videogamers… because it’s a great, REAL videogame!!!
Thanks Like Super Mario Bros. Being the Best selling game of all time Having a Simplistic Graphic’s but being The most fun Prove’s that Those HD’s don’t mean the game is gonna Rock. You Could have the BEST graphic’s and the game could be the worst game ever…. The Game Need Fun and a Innovative Way to play it Super Mario Bros. Really Brought The Gaming Universe Up a Notch and i mean a really big notch.
