They are all capable of live connections, but you need a broadband connection at home and also need to pay additional subscription fees for Live membership(£5 a month).

If you want to use it on a wireless network and not plug it straight into the modem/router, you will need to buy a wireless adapter specifically for xbox which costs an additional £50 or so.

Don’t buy an arcade version – the latest dashboard update that you need for Live takes up the whole memory unit supplied so you will just end up buying a hard drive or more memory units straight away,
