I have always loved video games and I had heard a little bit about how the Nintendo had really come out with a revolutionary system but until I played it, I didn’t understand exactly how enjoyable it was. From the first time that I played the system, I started looking for a place to buy a Nintendo Wii console. Unfortunately, there were very few of them available in the store, and in my area, there were none to be found anywhere. This began a frustrating search for me, one that ended as it should’ve started in the first place.

Of course, the first thing I did was to try and buy a Nintendo Wii console at our local department store. I even tried the game store at the mall but there were none to be found. I ended up sitting outside of the department store overnight in the freezing cold, hoping that enough would come in on delivery day so that I could land one. Unfortunately, only five Nintendo consoles came in on that day and I was the 10th person in line. I ended up going home, frustrated.

After I woke up, I flipped on the computer to see if it was possible to buy a Nintendo Wii console on the Internet. I was actually surprised to find out that not only was it possible but they were readily available once I found a website that offered them. I ended up purchasing one on the spot and was so happy that I found it, I bought one for my little brother as well.

Consoles have lagged behind but are now beginning to catch up which is great news.

There have been predictions in the past that before long all games will be bought over the internet and downloaded straight to your PC or console. That time is still some way off, mainly due to internet speeds still not being reliably high enough for some people. However it is almost certain that in the future all games will be downloaded online, which is why console companies are starting to get in on the market now.

If you want Wii download free games, you may be out of luck however as most free download sites are illegal. There are many subscription based sites though that charge a small monthly fee in return for downloads, and these are a much better option. These same sites often also allow you to download movies, TV shows and more.
