How can I get my Xbox 360 to use the internet through my computer?
T-ray asked:
I want to hook up the ethernet cable to my computer so my Xbox 360 can connect to Xbox Live that way, but it doesn't work. What do I need to do?

You need to go to the network settings. On XP, I don’t know, but you can google it. On Vista, go to Start, Computers and Network (or something), Right-click on your Internet connection, Properties, and in another tab it should say “Allow other computers to access the internet through this device” and click that. Then, unclick the second box, which allows others to change network settings. Check the website in the source it has it for XP and (better) directions for Vista if you couldn’t understand my directions =P
buy a ps3 they come w/ a built in wireless card. well your problem is that your internet may not support internet if you have wireless in your house you have to go spend another hundred dollars for xbox live.
NO, don’t buy a ps3. lmfao.
not only do you need to download w.e so you can play the game online, you can only play for a certain amount of time before it times out.
sure its free, but its shitty.
Trust me, you’d rather pay 45 a year for unlimited online play then playing some killzone online and your ps3 kicks you off.
online for xbox is muchhh better.
but yea, as for connecting…
you need a router, then it’s easy.
go to start, connect to , show all connections, then go over the connection that gets internet and the connection that the xbox goes into and bridge the connections
