How do I connect my XBOX 360 to my monitor and speakers, and easily switch back to my pc?

I know about the VGA cables that microsoft provides to make the xbox connect to a monitor, but they still have those big, clunky audio cables attached. How am I supposed to listen to the audio from the XBOX 360 with those? I need one of those tiny headphone-type connectors...
Also, I would like to be able to switch between my computer and the xbox on the same monitor and speaker setup without changing the wires every time.
Is this possible?

  1. Hacked Off says:

If you buy the OFFICIAL Microsoft Xbox 360 VGA cable, they come with the headphone-type connector adapter for the red/white audio RCA cables.

If you get a VGA switch box, you can choose either your Xbox 360 or PC connections to work with your monitor (see link below).

    Hey Mez

I personally got a VGA cable for my Xbox 360 and 2407 and connect my PC through DVI. It’s then just a case of switching which input I use rather than plugging/unplugging cables.

I don’t have any complaints with this setup, but then I’m not the most picky person when it come to quality. The VGA cable comes with a stereo composite audio as well, or you can use optical for sound.
