How do you change your region on Mario Kart Wii?

When i go online on Mario Kart wii. I get to the part where your little mii is waving at you on a map of your continent. I live in the Uk and yet it says that I live in Northern Germany. Is there anyway to my Mii back home

Go to the Wii Options menu and reset your country to United Kingdom. (not sure, I have US version of game, and I see US)
And if that doesn’t work, try doing that from Mario Kart by going to the Settings from the license selecting area.
Wii Menu:
1. Go to Wii Menu
2. Go to Settings
3. Go to Country
4. Change to UK
Mario Kart Wii:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to Change Regions.
3. Change to UK.
