I have my mum play video games with me, the wii is great fun for that :) . When parents play video games with the kids it's like a family night without the usual objections from the kids, because honestly, what kid would say no to video games? It also depends on what games you get though so make sure everyone is cool with whatever you have and then bring on the fun, lol.
