How good do video game reviewers have to be at playing video games?

    You have to be as good as somebody who can complete most games on easy.

    If you’re talking about a website (like IGN). Not really.

    If you’re talking about a magazine (like EGM), Journalism experience. However, Video Game Reviewers are pretty much the lowest paid job in journalism.

    Not really much to do with videogame skill.
