    yes, it will.

  2. Zap says:

You might need a voltage conversion plug since, I believe, the US uses a different electrical current standard than Europe…but yes, the games should play the same.

it probably will but the games might not. I remember asking this question but the only thing that wont work are the games from Ireland you may need to buy America games as UK games are PAL and the US isnt. Hope that helps sorry i’m not very technical but you should understand what i’m saying.

  5. stoopid says:

You will need a transformer to get the right voltage, and you will have to buy your games from USA.

i think the console will if you change the plug to fit ireland sockets but i dont think the games will as i think they are coded like dvd’s restricted to regions.

All you need for a Wii is any working TV/monitor or the like…old or new. The other thing you will need is an electrical outlet to plug the console in to. You may need to purchase an electrical ac converter as European hydro/electric has different wattage/plugins than the USA. Make sure that you have purchased a game to fully enjoy the Wii, they have quite a few and are pretty basic to understand and play. I would assume they sell the Wii in Ireland too as well as the games. You might want to check with an electronics or home entertainment center in your area. Since it is an international item, I don’t think you’ll have any problem. Any other more detailed answers can be found at
    I hope this helps you!

I’ve just got back to UK having bought another controller for my Wii in New York and it works fine, so I assume accessories will be ok in Ireland too. Hope this helps.
