    Probably, not that it matters though, the wii is region locked meaning only North American games work on a North American wii console, and only European games work on a European wii, many confuse region locking with TV format, its not the same.

On the other hand, Wii is not the most popular game console in China. To do comparison shopping, you can go to electronic or digital stores there, which can be found in virtually every city. For example, there is a center that consists of thousands of computer electronics vendors in Beijing. This center is called “Zhongguancun”. Every cab driver knows the area.
