Which video game console is better: PlayStation 3 or Wii?

Okay, graphics and games seem to be the argument for the ps3 side.

Let's go over the whole ideas of the systems though?

PS3 a Duke not only video game system but a Multimedia system. Sony puts in the blue-ray player not only to push their format in the HD-DVD war but to also cost YOU more money. Awesome. NOT. Great for the gamer who wants to sit on their butt and play the same old games the same old way. This is just your original ps2 with more graphics and more internet capabilities.

Nintendo Wii, a revolutionary approach at gaming. Not only is it a system for everyone but also adapts to the needs of the everyday gamer. Yes you can still sit on your butt and play this system, but when you get so into it you stand up anyways LoL. Anybody can get into playing a Wii, non gamers love it and so do gamers. And the best part, everybody can afford it. The graphics are slightly disappointing yes but the graphics do not need to be upscale because of the types of games that are released for the wii. In my opinion a Nintendo Wii is great for a person who has friends and likes to play games with em.

The games for the Wii are fun games. Games you play with your friends or by yourself.

Some great titles are

Wii Sports- This package comes with your wii and it is so fun you don't need to buy an extra game for your wii when you buy the console.

Mario Party 8- C'mon this is the game you play with your friends and piss them off when you steal their stars, classic game but now with the wii mote

Trauma Center- A remake of the DS game absolutely great story line, amazing gameplay all around one of my favorite wii games I can't wait till another one comes out!

Cooking Mama- maybe this one isnt for the guys, but it attracts a female fan base (gasp) and is another game that is fun to challenge with your friends.

Rampage- Wii style, this is good stuff destroying with your wii mote OH YEAH

LEGEND OF ZELDA TWILIGHT PRINCESS- LONG LONG awaited game, visually looks stunning on the Wii and do I have to even go on, you have to buy this game with your Wii

Pokemon Battle Revolution- great battles even syncs with your DS so you can take the pokemon from your ds and use them on your wii, awesome feature

I could go on and on, but those were some major highlights I would also like to include

Resident Evil 4- Wii Edition!- try using a knife in this game with a wii mote it is WAY too fun

Metroid Prime 3- Corruption

Super Smash Bros Brawl- the mother of all fighting games

Manhunt 2- who doesnt want to rip body parts off with your wii mote?

lets also keep in mind even though nunchuck/wii mote sets are 60 bucks you pay a lot less for accessories then you do with the ps3 or 360, so its a cheaper system that everybody can like. it is the innovative side of gaming something gamers have been waiting for awhile. Nintendo made a bold move that paid off in the end. I as a gamer was getting bored of ps2/gc/xbox, the wii made gaming just so much more interesting for me. I have turned into a Nintendo fan-girl since I got my DS and Wii because I am so into the games.

and did I mention YOU CAN SIT DOWN BE LAZY AND PLAY YOU WII

the wii just has so much more going for it then the ps3 does, now im not saying i hate the ps3 in fact I want one, I just dont have the money to buy it + games + accessories (and i get discounts on all that stuff!).

Just keep in mind games that are coming out like Madden 08 and Manhunt 2 are going to be a much better experience on the Wii, than on your regular old consoles.
