Video game reviews: Tomb Raider
The first time I had played "Tomb Raider" was back in 1997. I was staying up at my mom's place for summer vacation. My uncle that was living with her had the Sega Saturn, which is still one of my all-time favorite gaming consoles. I was relaxing around the house and my uncle came back with three games: "Alien Trilogy," "Ghen War," and "Tomb Raider." For a first-person shooter, I did enjoy my fill of playing Alien Trilogy. However, my uncle and I did play a lot of Tomb Raider. I was attracted to the concepts of Tomb Raider.
During the time, "Tomb Raider 2" was in development. Lara Croft, the protagonist of Tomb Raider, would be a notable video-game icon, let alone female video-game icon. Lara Croft was considered to be the most beautiful woman of all time. Real life supermodels would get trumped by a video game sprite. While there was a lot of hype with Tomb Raider, the game play and storyline spoke for themselves. Tomb Raider did a good job of utilizing the technology available at the time: Sega Saturn, MS-DOS, and Sony Playstation. The game play had stunned me.
It starts out in the desert and then goes to the present day in which Lara Croft along with a man named Larson are hired to head down to South America. The name of Tomb Raider shows that Lara Croft is a "tomb raider." Overall, it is a good start on Tomb Raider's storyline. The game is divided up into different levels that are split into several arcs of the story taking the player around to different parts of the world.
At the end of arc of the story, you are engaged in a boss battle. Most of the boss battles are against human enemies. Your main enemies are mainly hungry wolves, tigers, and pumas.
However, they are not that easy to kill.
You have to keep moving around to evade their attacks.
Graphics-wise, Tomb Raider has done a good job. The graphics were pretty great during the time. While the game is a 3D action-adventure game, it is not a survival horror game. However, you are confined to tombs and caves throughout the entire game. Unlike a game like "Resident Evil," Tomb Raider is divided into levels. Each level has it set of objections to meet and secrets to discover. But, you do have full mobility such as climbing, somersault, side-flipping, and moonsaulting. Being able to use those abilities properly are essential by getting past obstacles such as enemies. When confronting enemies, you have to constantly move.
Luckily, there is the auto-aim feature. When
Video game reviews: Gun – Part 1

Released in November 2005, "Gun" by Activision tells the story of Colton White. Raised on the Mississippi as a hunter and tracker, his rustic but simple life is disrupted when a steamboat that he and his father are on is attacked by a group of men in search of a lost artifact. The gamer is privy to a few moments that hint at a broader and slightly more sinister story that awaits, and then all hell breaks loose.
The man that Colton thought was his father is killed by these men, but not before he sends Colton off in the right direction to uncover the secrets of his past. After this, the game devolves into a rather formulaic and uninteresting tale of Colton shooting everything that moves and some things that don't as he searches the old west for answers.
The game play itself is standard fair, you start out with a six-shooter and as you manage to waste increasingly difficult opponents you acquire their weapons. Think the show "Gunsmoke" only not as good, meets "Max Payne" (because of a "Quick Draw" option that is just another version of "bullet time")but not as slick.
Activision was looking for a "Grand Theft Auto" set in the nineteenth century and it can be fun, to head out on your own, steal the nearest horse and ride around aimlessly or participate in a side mission. Before long though, the charm wore off and I was left in the middle of a game that just doesn't do what a good game ought to do; "Gun" just didn't make me want to play more. Also, and this might just be because I love western movies so much, the game seemed to constrictive in it's storyline and game play to get to the heart of freedom that all good westerns have.
There are some colorful characters, such as the mad Preacher and the former Union Soldier who's lost his mind and wears around a wolf's head as he slaughter's any living thing that crosses his path. And bar-girls are always fun to have around, but the only two that are introduced are promptly murdered.
The game was just a little too predictable to be good. And the Native Americans that were portrayed in the game were right out of a bad western from sometime when making fun of other cultures was still considered good entertainment; from their speech to their clothes, the Indians in the movie were so over-the-top stereotypes that it was hard to take it seriously.
By the time that I'd defeated the arch villain of the story, I'd only explored a little over sixty percent of the games expansive universe, still, I felt like I'd seen it all and I definitely didn't want to head back for seconds. "Gun" tries hard but can't come up with the goods.
That being said, kudos for Activision for their attempt to jump into the western market; it is a pretty slim genre that needs an infusion of talent and good games. There haven't been enough western video games and the catalog should be expanded, considering the opportunities it gives developers for a chance to make an interesting and expansive climate, Westerns, which have started to make a come back in Hollywood, will hopefully pull the same trick in the video game world. Sadly, "Gun" won't be remembered as one of the greats.
Video game reviews: Champions Return to Arms (PS2)
This is the sequel to Snowblind's Champions of Norrath, and uses not only the same engine as its predecessor, but also the same engine as the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games by the same company. All of these games share a number of points, including solid and consistent controls and well-designed levels and interesting character development. Although they games have been developed, licensed and marketed under titles for role-playing games, Champions (and the other games based on the same engine) is more linear, more like an adventure game than a true role-playing game. The learning curve is fairly shorteven without experience of the previous games.
Champions did do something remarkable and build on the game it followed by allowing players to import their Champions of Norrath character. Champions does not, however, require that players have played the first game, and there are a number of characters to select from, including two races that are significantly more interesting to the fantasy genre than the normal human/elf/dwarf selectiona reptilian shaman and a feline barbarian. Also, players can customize their character's appearance by selecting from a number of choices. These selections of appearance or in armor worn and weapons carried are visible during play, which is no longer revolutionary but is a good touch.
Playing the gameeven though this is NOT the game made under the Dungeons and Dragons licensedid bring up a sense of nostalgia for classic D&D adventures altered somewhat to fit into a video game. The back of the box boasts of over a hundred hours of playtime, although it does not include a clock or timer within the scope of the game. It is very possible that there are over a hundred hours of play time, which is both a benefit and potentially a downside.
It is not a flawless game, however. The familiarity and similarity did make the game play feel a bit redundant. Characters did vary, but some monsters and some settings were used before. Many of the monsters, textures and maps were new but felt familiar. There was a mild sense of dj vu and the feeling that I pretty much bought the same game 4 times. Also, the game does have a strong linearity; while there are some choices between missions, there is little choice within the course of a mission. Finally, there were times that the sheer number of opponents got monotonous. These, however, are relatively minor complaintsthe one flaw that was extremely frustrating was the occasional lock-up of the game. I don't know, however, if those were hardware or software failures.
Although it is a 4-year old game, the play and the graphics are solid. The shortcomings are easily overlookedespecially if one can remember the cardinal rule of video games, "save early and save often." I'd say it rates 7 out of 10; if you enjoy playing in a traditional fantasy setting, Champions is a good way to get in touch with your inner elf for a while.
Video game reviews: King Kong
Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie
*Publisher- Ubisoft
*Developer- Ubisoft Montpellier/Ubisoft Casablanca/Phoenix Studio
*Platforms- PS2, Xbox, GCN, Nintendo DS, GBA, PC, Xbox 360, PSP,
*Release- November 21, 2005
I'm sure some of you remember the original King Kong all too well, but back in 2005 the movie was remade. I assume it was Peter Jackson's idea, but after the movie was remade suddenly a video game version was created for every console out at the time.
While theres difference between the consoles for each system, the game play features and the objects still remain the same for the most part. For those wondering, the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo DS versions are rated E(For Everyone), while the rest of the games for other platforms are rated T(For Teen).
Most of the time video games that tie-in with movies aren't that great, with the exception of Golden Eye and some others of course. I'll admit, I didn't know if I should purchase this game at first, after all it's based on King Kong.
However, this game received very good reviews from gaming magazines and websites. Will it pass my test? Perhaps, lets get started, I'll explain the pros and the cons of the game, please remember that this is only my opinion.
*Pros
Lets start out with the simple, the game's graphics are pretty good if you purchase the game for one of the high-end consoles like Xbox or PS2. Well, high-end for that time at least.
The game features a alternative ending, basically you control King Kong as you climb up the Empire State Building while fighting off planes. Yes, it's exactly like the original King Kong movie if you've ever seen it.
During the normal game however, you control both King Kong and Jack Driscoll, a New York playwright that's been trapped on the island because of a ship wreck. During most of the game play you control Jack, and you're given a primitive weapon, of course adding to the difficulty that you face in the game.
Take note that the Xbox 360 version has a high definition feature and better sound, but the other versions of the game aren't that bad off either. For those of you wondering, this game is only one player, it's pretty difficult too, but thats a good thing, at least I think.
*Cons
There are a few cons about this game, starting off with how the game is based on the King Kong movie, personally I don't like that fact. Perhaps others would love the fact that it's based on the 2005 movie.
I believe the game needs a multi-player feature, maybe cooperative play. If this game had cooperative play included, I'd give it two thumbs up instantly, because tons of games seem to be leaving that out nowadays.
Other then that, there isn't anything else to complain about, it's a solid game that anyone could enjoy. I give this game one thumb up, and recommend it to anyone thats a fan of them movie or King Kong at all.

Video game reviews: Hinokakera (PC)
"Hinokakera" is a very interesting 2.5D fighting game which is a "doujin soft" title. Since it is a doujin soft, not many outside of Japan will know about Hinokakera. I only learned about the game through my piqued curiosity in regards to the Japanese doujin soft titles. Doujin soft games are games created by groups of game and anime hobbyists known as doujins. From what I have seen, these doujins take their doujin soft projects very seriously.
Most of the doujin soft games I see play better than a lot of mainstream video games. Perhaps the mainstream video game industry could learn a thing or two from these doujins and their doujin soft titles.
Unfortunately, most doujin soft titles are only available for the PC. Since I have a PC laptop, I am in luck. All I need next is to get a gamepad for my PC laptop. There are a number of doujin soft titles that are one-on-one fighting games. They happen to be my favorite games of all time. As a fighting game fanatic, I had to check out these doujin soft titles.
One game did get my attention.
The game is known as "Hinokakera."
The game has 3D graphics. But Hinokakera is designated as a 2.5D fighting game. A 2.5D game is a game that sits on the fence between 2D and 3D fighting. While everything is in 3D, Hinokakera plays like a 2D fighting.
Hinokakera could be compared to another popular doujin soft title known as "Fatal/Fake." Fatal/Fake can be classified as 2.5D. That game has 3D graphics while it plays like a 2D fighting game. Mainstream counter parts would include games such as "Street Fighter IV," "Rival Schools: United by Fate," and "Project Justice." Those games have 3D graphics while playing like 2D fighting games.
From the game play aspect, Hinokakera is very smooth. The game play is very fast and does not seem to slow down. As for playability, Hinokakera has a good deal of excitement and intensity. For the fighters, the game looks to be very balanced for the most part. Balance is important for any type of fighting game.
There are some fighting games that are unbalanced or "broken." It does not seem to be the case with Hinokakera.
As a result of the game's popularity, the doujin known as Reddish Region was able to sell it commercially.
The graphics were beautifully done. The intro movie was beautifully and professionally done. The character designs were beautifully done. Reddish Region has taken this project seriously.
Its game play animations were simply amazing. One aspect of the animations that caught my eye was the Overdrives. The animations of the Overdrives were excellent and intense at the same time.
So far, there are eleven characters to choose from along with two hidden characters. The two hidden characters can be unlocked.
Overall, it brings another important factor: replay value. For a doujin soft title, Reddish Region went the extra mile. In is latest update, it added a story mode that is like a visual novel.
Also present would be the peer-2-peer online play. It is about the only doujin soft title I have seen that allows for online play.
Hinokakera is a game that under-promises and over-delivers. If you are a fan of fighting games, Hinokakera is one title you should check out.
If you are an avid fan of fighting games, you should play Hinokakera.
Video game reviews: Assassins Creed (Xbox 360, PS3)
Every since I heard about this game i wanted to get it. When I picked up the game I immediately came home and put it in my console. I was very amazed by the intro video. the graphics in the game are very good, compared to some of the other games I've played on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the graphics a 9. Now lets move on the the game play, when yo get into playing the game you will notice the you will find yourself in the same spot all the time, for example you go to you hideout get you mission complete it and the you just wind up back at you hideout again and again. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the game play a 6 for its lack to keep the game play exciting. Moving on to the story line,I'm not going to spoil it for you gamers out there just let me say that the story line is kinda interesting, it's just getting to the good part thats the problem. So on a 1 to 10 scale I would have to give this section of the game a 8. Now on to the basics of the game you are a hired assassin and you have to go around killing all of your hit targets to stop them from getting their hands on this magical relic. The game play takes in the middle east. The best thing that I liked about the game is that after you complete the game you can still ride around to the different cities and mess around and finish up anything you left unattended. Some things that i did not like about the game was that you would get interrupted in the middle of the story line by cut scenes and it was really annoying. There is not very many bad things i can say about this game, who assassinating like going around assinateing people (on video games of course). I would not recomend this game for anyone under the age of 13 due to the large amouont of killing and blood. So for the price of the game and if i knew what the game was gonna be like before i bought it i would not buy it for the price they want for it i would go to a local game shop and try to pick up a used one. Over all if you can find this game used and you like good old fashion killing then this is your game but I would not recomend buying this game brand new.
Wii: Video Game Fun Women Can Approve Of
For many women out there, the word “video game” represents everything that is wrong with today's society. Grown men will park them selves for hours in front of their beloved game console getting up only to fulfill life's necessities. Young children will undoubtedly throw a tantrum if you insist on making them turn the game off during an integral part of game play. It seems that video games have taken away what woman feel is important in life: quality time. Be that as it may there is one console out there that seems to have sprung them, and therefore us, from the clutches of gory graphics and intense hour long game play. Nintendo, the widely known manufacturer of video game consoles has met women's need for quality time with the acclaimed Wii.
What Makes It Different
What is is about this game console that makes women less likely to cringe at the thought of allowing video games into their household? Wii seems to be bringing people together more than any other video game out there. In an age of technology they have finally found the new millennium's answer to board game night. This video game, though not packed with stellar graphics is full of family fun. Instead of lengthly and intense games that capture the players attention for days, weeks, or months to come, the Wii specializes in short yet fun games that the whole family can play. Games like Wii Play, the disc that comes with the console ensures fun for even the video game challenged with a chance to test their skills at tennis, bowling, boxing, and baseball.
Get Everyone Involved
So how does this help you plight? I my self, being victim of men's love for video games have played Wii and guess what? It's fun. Men and woman of all ages from preschoolers to seniors seem to love the Wii and Nintendo's unique approach to game play. Instead of taking turns sitting in front of the couch practically motionless the Wii invited players to get up and do something, which is after all something that we've been trying to get kids to do for years now. Most games are played by moving the motion sensitive controller to mimic real life movements like the swing of a bat or a golf club. In fact, some senior centers have found that the Wii is a great way to help the elderly become active and have fun while doing it.
Family Fun
If you think video games signify the death of quality time, the Wii should make you pause and reevaluate. The Wii will have you, your significant other, and the rest of your family competing for top bowler or enjoying a great game of Mario Party. You can even get friends and family together in a Wii themed night. Choose a sport from Wii Play and center an evening around it. Everyone can dress the part with their baseball or bowling shirts and you can have fun finger foods that go along with the theme. For example, have a bowling night where you can compete with friends and family while enjoying bowling alley goodies like hot dog, French fries, bowling ball cupcakes, and some orange drink.
Video games: The pros and cons of innovation – Part 1
As video games have progressed so has the taste of the American mind. Everyone seems to love the Nintendo Wii, and I can truly respect the new features it supports. As time goes on everything gets bigger and better. The Wii is no different. The Wiimote as everyone calls it, is an innovation of greatness. Every single day people go on and on about the PS3 and how great it's going to be, well when is it going to get to the peak of "great". The Wii already is doing phenomenal in the market.
Nintendo is showing that they have not become that of Sega. They are here to stay, and they hope to stay for many years to come. The Wii brings a great innovative groove to the gamer, you feel as though your there and it actually gives you a little bit of a workout. If Nintendo gets more solid titles for the Wii, I can see it being on top like like Nintendo was way back when.
We all need to realise that gaming has changed and new innovative things are being done to re-create the gaming industry. Nintendo's Wiimote is changing the way we play. Sony is changing itself for the worse and Microsoft is doing one up on Sony. At the rate the Wii goes I don't see much of anything that will slow it down.
But of course there are the cons of innovation. How many games can the Wii support with it's wiimote? Could it truly last long enough and keep people excited? People might find the Wiimote as if it were just to much. People might drop gaming if they can't play their favorite games. Some people may never be able to pick up the new style of game play. We may be seeing a fall of gamers and a rise of new technology.
The Xbox 360 has progressed majorly since it's release in 2005. The Xbox 360 not only has created some fun entertaining features but their games have improved since that of the Xbox. The new controller is also one of the best controllers ever produced for man. The controller is so accessible that you can easily play a game without having to search for what button you have to push like with the Gamecube and Xbox controllers. The online has also improved. The new feature of the Arcade also give the gamer a choice to go back and feel as if they are young again. Microsoft has improved majorly in the gaming market, and at the rate they are going their bound to become the more powerful company in the gaming world.
But of course the Xbox 360 has it's flaws. From what I could tell is that it is somewhat bulky and when moving it makes a loud noise. Also the system

Best video games of 2008
The best video games of 2008, so far at least, have been very good. There is no doubting, that the Wii, Playstation 3 and X360 and even the handheld DS have given us some great titles. To include one from each:
Metal Gear Solid 4: PS3
While the PS3 might be lagging behind the Wii and X360, there can be no denying that in this title it undoubtedly has a strong contender for best game on all formats. It is a show-case for the Playstation 3 and its capabilities.
Undoubtedly, its audio-visual presentation is some of the best witnessed in a video game. This is an area, that the console has some superiority over the Wii and X360. Screenshots like these, best demonstrate the game's graphics: "He hides, behind a rock.
Aside from the technical side, the game also has great game-play and story telling. It has lengthy story sequences, which combine game-play and narrative most effectively. The game-play has also been cleaned up a little making close quarter combat more efficient.
Overall, the game is difficult to fault. Reviews have rated the game very highly indeed.
Braid: X360
Who would have thought that 2d-platform game titles, could still get a look in? Braid proves they are alive and well, and can still be as good as, if not better than 3d platform games.
This Xbox title mixes platforms with puzzles. The puzzles offer a good challenge, but are not impossible. Likewise, the pinpoint controls, enables crisp game-play.
It combines its game-play with a great story. It keeps you interested in the game throughout, up until the ending, which makes for a fine ending.
Although 2d, it has some great art design, which enhance the game. Visually, "it is eye-catching. The audio is also great, with music that complements the mood of the game.
Overall, the game proves that 2d platform games can flourish in a 3d age. It's the best exclusive game on the Xbox.
Super Smash Bros Brawl: Wii
Despite the quality of the aforementioned game titles, the Wii continues to hold sway with most punters. In addition, Super Smash Bros undoubtedly has been one of its trump cards.
Famous Nintendo game characters are pitted against each other, in the ring, with Super Smash Bros. The character roster is as big as ever, with some 35 Nintendo characters to choose from. Despite the size, it remains very well balanced.
Game variety is something this game has in spades. There are many ways to customise the matches, and a single player adventure mode also. This combined with multi-player give many game-play options.
Graphically, it is one of the best Wii titles. In this screen shot, Diddy and Bowser confront. With an impressive soundtrack to boot, Super Smash Bros is one of the best games on the console.
Final Fantasy IV: DS
The best hand held game of the year is Final Fantasy IV, on the DS. Another addition to the Final Fantasy series is brought to the DS. In addition, it is not disappointing.
For starters, it is in 3d, and is one of the best DS games graphically, (view screenshot). The characters have style, and the dungeons are rendered in 3d, with size and depth.
The game also offers the chance to customize characters. This makes for some of the more memorable game character in the series.
With such new features, and story elements, it is one of the best additions to the franchise. Likewise, it makes for one of the best 2008 games.
These games are the best exclusive 2008 titles released on the console platforms. Overall, some might consider Metal Gear to be the best game. However, it's not that easy a call.

Which video game console is better: PlayStation 3 or Wii? – Part 3

I have played both systems. I own the Nintendo Wii. Before I purchased the Nintendo Wii, I made a pros and cons chart. On this chart I had the Xbox 360, the Playstation #, and the Nintendo Wii. For the purpose of the article I will not include my thoughts about the Xbox 360. The Playstation 3 is a great system. It offers a Blue ray player, great graphics, and in depth game-play desired by most games. The Blue ray player alone is a bargain, but if you're not into the games that are produce for the Playstation 3 then it's not for you. The initial price tag for this system was too much. With everything that is inside it does seem worth it. The Blue ray player alone is at least $400.00. The rest of the system is about $200. In my opinion the Playstation 3 is a $400 system. Despite it's $250 price tag, the Nintendo Wii is a better system for any type of gamer. I was able to get my father to play the Wii sports game disc. We played boxing, tennis, baseball, bowling, and golf. This was another plus that the system came with a game. We had a good time with the boxing. My father knocked me out in the second round. He isn't much of a gamer but he was impressed with the games. The Nintendo Will was made for all types of gamers. The Playstation 3 really just reached out to two types of gamers. With the sales of the Nintendo Wii continuing to rise, we will have a lot to expect from the Nintendo Wii. With Nintendo's recent release of Wii Fit and the Wii balance board, the Playstation 3 may find it difficult to catch up in sales and fans.I purchased Wii Fit and found myself in a pool of sweat. I look forward to getting home to work out. It's a modest price tag for what you're getting. With the two video game rivals striving for video game immortality, we will be very astonished with Nintendo's advancements. With all the hype behind the Nintendo Wii prior to it's release, it has certainly lived up to it's hype. The Playstation 3 is not far behind but fails with it's grossly high price tag. It will come down, but the games offered leave too many to be desired. Save your money and buy the Nintendo Wii. With the extra cash you can afford to buy a few games. If you're happy with the Wii Sports disc you will be fine. Don't forget to go wi-fi with your Nintendo Wii. Download your favorite Nintendo games, Super Nintendo games, Sega Master System games, Sega Genesis games, Neogeo games, or the Nintendo 64 games. Different channels are also available to view from the news, the weather, or the internet. The Nintendo Wii acts as its own entertainment package rolled into one. even though it doesn't have a Blue Ray player, gamers are not going to miss it. What happens when the Playstation 4 comes out? Another $700 out of your pocket that's what. Stick with Nintendo. They're not going anywhere anytime soon.
Modding the Xbox 360
Modding the Xbox 360
Modifying your Xbox 360, or “modding,” is a common hobby among gamers with a passion for customization. There are many ways to change the Xbox 360 gaming experience. Some of these are superficial, like changing the console’s appearance, and others are more significant and can completely alter the functioning of the system. Novice modders can get help on the web from sites like www.llama.com, which offers great tutorials. Once you know the basics, it is easy to start developing even more mod ideas.
Some of the most difficult modifications to the Xbox 360 involve changing the console’s hardware. With the right tools and skills, you can add additional RAM, cooling devices, and much more. The cooling device option is quite popular since the Xbox 360 is known to generate a lot of heat. Installing a high-speed air cooler helps prevent problems caused by overheating. Some fan mods even include an exterior display to monitor heat output. Some modders also install special chips to allow the Xbox to read custom games not created for the console. This is especially useful for people who want to play burned copies of games.
Another popular change is to add additional storage space to the Xbox 36 console. This can be easily done using a USB 2.0 external hard drive. The Xbox 360 already supports removable USB devices. This makes adding this mod even easier, and step by step instructions are available online. In addition to providing you extra capacity, this mod also allows you to add music and video files not supported by Microsoft’s hardware. The Xbox 360 will only accept files downloaded from Xbox Live or ripped from a music CD. However, with this mod, you can add mp3 music files and other unsupported types to your game play experience.
You can modify the exterior of your Xbox 360 as well. The first step is to remove the hardware from the case. Then, the case itself can be custom cut and designed. The hardware is then returned, creating a new look. Some modders also add colored lights to the inside the casing. This creates a unique glowing effect. You can even set the lights to flash and change colors as you see fit. The casing on the Xbox 360 controller can also be modified with custom facing kits and colored lights. Some more extreme controller modifications change button functioning and positions. This can make controllers more adaptable for specific types of game play, such as first person shooters.
Xbox 360 mods can range from simple decals added to the console to completely rewiring the entire system. In fact, perhaps the most extreme mod out there is one created by Ben Hackerdon. Hackerdon successfully converted his Xbox 360 into a laptop. To do this, Hackerdon created a custom casing for the Xbox 360 and laptop screen attachment. He even added Wi-Fi connections and modified the power supply to suit his new machine.
All forms of modding have risks. The key is to know what you are doing and be extremely careful. If you are concerned, you can purchase pre-crafted mod kits to make your task easier. Various dealers sell these products online. Finally, it is important to note that modifying anything except the outside casing of the Xbox 360 is not permitted by Microsoft. So, you could get in trouble if you try to make your modding hobby into a business. Also, modding will void any warranty you have on your Xbox 360. However, as long as you accept the risks, the rewards of modding can be quite appealing. If done correctly, mods are a great way to improve upon your gaming experience.

Wii Fishing Games
One of the most popular and interesting wii hunting games is Hooked. It comes with a miniaturized fishing rod that you replace the Wii hand controllers with. Then you have some real hunting action. After all, even when youre fishing, youre hunting, so you may be quite surprised at the fun you can have with Hooked. There is a wide range of fishing environments to choose from with these Wii fishing games including six photo realistic lakes to a meteorite crater turned lake to a man-made recreational reservoir. There are three exciting single-player game play modes as well. You can hone your skills in practice or time attack mode. Then you can move on to tournament mode to see if you can become the next world champion! Hooked retails for about $59.99 and often comes with a free controller to gaming enthusiasts.Since the Wii is a relatively new video game console, we are sure that there will be plenty more Wii hunting games available for sale in the not too distant future. For now, though, be sure to check out the Wii hunting games that are available now Hooked and Rapala Trophies.

There are thousands more and counting; hundreds and hundreds of new titles are added on to the list every week. By joining one of those P2P download services, all you have to do is make a few mouse-clicks on your computer to retrieve the games of your choice. Nintendo recently opened up the SD-port on the console for direct game play from SD-card. This has effectively enabled unlimited storage capability for Download Free Wii Games itself while greatly streamlining the process of loading the system console for game play. It also inherently eliminates the need to transit downloaded media including games at your computer memory thereby freeing up space previously required for this purpose. When you download Nintendo Wii video games online, you must make sure that the sites are reliable. There are all too many unscrupulous sites which are known to plant spyware, adware and other malware under the guise of free games. A good yardstick of credibility is their ratings by independent review sites. Another good indicator is if they are certified by recognized inspection laboratories.
