nothing,they just show that u are a really good racer with the more points u have,its like ur rank. pick m best answer please =)
they dont help u unlock anything because there is no mii outfit C and u cant get past 9999points. its true
Not a currency – just a ranking mechanism. It also prevents cheating and possibly helps you unlock stuff.
It prevents cheating because it deducts 200 points if someone disconnects mid race to keep people from turning off their system so they don’t lose.
Rumor is that you unlock Mii Outfit C if you hit 15000 points.

Don’t get too excited, you can’t buy games from the wii shop channel with these points. You can’t do anything with these points, they just show how good or bad you are at Mario Kart online. The more points you have, the better you are, the less points you have, the worse you are. The guy who says that you can unlock mii outfit c if you get to 15000 points is wrong; there is no mii outfit c and the highest amount of points you can get is 9999. The lowest amount of points you can get is 0. But don’t worry, you’ll never get that low unless you come in last on every race on purpose. Even if you did that, it would still take forever to get to 0.
