It’s actually really fun if you take the time to learn it. It may mean having to go back to basic for a bit to get the basics but IMO it’s worth it.
this game is RIDICULOUSLY hard… even on easy =(

dang, you have to use your hands & feet. I can’t imagine how hard it’ll be if it was to be in HEAVY MODE.
I got hottest dance party 2 for christmas and its sooo funnn and it really isn’t after a while at first icould barely hit one thing =S

I hate the hand things
You can turn off hand motions, but this game is way to stinkin easy and you can’t set any mods at all. I wish Nintendo would replicate DDR, like Sony does. (not a Sony fanboy, just sayin.)

Is that the only way to play ddr on the wii … is that because it is the hottest party ? because im getting a wii but i want the matt the old version… the different color one and the one with out using the controlers, do you know if its possible?
there is a way… under the song thing go options then goto hand masks or something and you can turn it off there ill make a video for you if you would like pm me and tell me thanks.

Yes, you need to use your hands to control the remote while you are dancing. There’s no a option for you to turn it on or off, it depends on which sign are showing in the song.
